CAM Conference 2009The format of the day is as follows:
9.30am Coffee and registration. Serving organic and fair-trade tea, herbal tea and coffee
First Session 10.00am – 11.00am
Dr Lee Cowden
Most diseases are caused by bacteria and / or viruses which attack the immune system. By using an infection with a tick bite causing Lyme disease as an example Dr Lee Cowden will show you how to make the immune system stronger to even beat this stealth bacteria called borrelioses. The Borrelia burgdorferi “the great imitator” can like no other mislead and suppress the immune system. The consequences can be huge and current antibiotics fail in this area. Dr. Lee Cowden has discovered, through his experiences in his clinic, a natural treatment protocol with a high rate of success.
11.00am - 11.30am
Refreshments: Serving organic and fair-trade tea, herbal tea and coffee.
Second Session 11.30am – 12.45pm
Dr Fred Kuipers
Emotions, stress, pollution, food but also other factors have an impact on the immune system. It seems to be the key to acute and most chronic conditions we come across in the doctor and therapist practice. It is absolutely necessary to target these specifically rather than treating the symptoms. Dr Fred Kuipers' practice is specialised in degenerative conditions in which the immune system is examined through bio-physical measurement and treatment methods and will share his experiences and treatment protocol.
12.45pm - 1.45pm
Lunch: Healthy options will be available.
1.45pm - 2.30pm
Tour of St.Paul’s Cathedral
Third Session 2.30pm – 3.30pm
Jacqueline Young ND
Most patients who come to your practice are acidic and/or toxic which weakens the immune system and make them more receptive to disease. Barley grass is a natural alkalizing and detoxification aid and should be the basis for every treatment to strengthen the immune system and make other medication work better. Due to its unique vitamin, mineral, enzyme, chlorophyll and antioxidant properties barley grass may also help with a wide range of health problems including digestive, skin and inflammatory conditions, arteriosclerosis, toxicity, blood sugar imbalance and fatigue.
3.30pm - 4.00pm
Refreshments: Serving organic and fair-trade tea, herbal tea and coffee.
Fourth Session 4.00pm – 5.00pm
Dr Albin Beck
Dr Beck shares his treatment protocols and talks about several specific case histories from his own clinic.
5.00pm
Finish.
