Widely considered to be one of the world's most beautiful buildings, St Paul's is the Cathedral Church of the Diocese of London, and the fifth Cathedral to stand on the site since 604 AD. The present building, designed by Sir Christopher Wren in the late 17th century, has became a potent symbol of the life of the nation and of the cosmopolitan city in which it is located.
St Paul’s Cathedral is within a short walk of St Paul’s tube station (Central line).
